tammy + tad | trash the dress photos

Tammy + Tad recently got married in San Diego’s amazing Prado in Balboa Park, coordinated by good friend Cynthia of CZ Events. We would have loved to photograph their wedding but alas, we were right around the corner at the San Diego Museum of Art photographing another amazing wedding (stay tuned for pictures from that wedding soon!), but when Tammy and Tad contacted us to see if we could shoot their Trash The Dress session, well, we could not have been happier! How much fun! We LOVE trash-the-dress sessions, especially in beautiful San Diego’s iconic Balboa Park. Tammy is crafty to say the least, which if you know anything about the DIY movement you know that is the ultimate compliment to pay a creative gal, and she had such a fun time adding lovely little elements to their wedding, all of which she brought along to the session with us. Paper cranes, “I Do and HooRay!” pennants, signs reading “I’m her Mr” and “I’m his Mrs”, and all the lovely paper details from the ceremony and reception … ah, details delightful! Super fun! I especially love Tammy’s reception (made for dancing) dress, yellow heels, and yellow shawl. The flowers were made by their wedding florist, Indulge Florals.
